Online booking
An appointment must be booked online to apply for a passport and/or ID-card. Attendance without an appointment is not possible.
Passport picture of young children
The passport office will take photos of everyone who applies for a passport and ID card, including children under 3 years of age.
When you apply for a new passport and/or ID card, we take a photo with the biometrics kiosk when you show up. Passport photos from photographers or photo machines are not valid for use in passports and ID cards.
Queuing
Enter your telephone number or reference number at the terminal at the entrance. You will then get a queue number. Follow the info screens, which will show when it's your turn.
Parking
There are few available parking spaces (for a fee) in front of the building. We recommend traveling by public transport. The entrance to the passport and ID-office is on the left side of the building, entrance A.

Bring valid ID, travel documentation and two passport photos.
The passport office does not have a photo machine.

Persons wishing to collect their decision as regards Norwegian citizenship can contact us by email or telephone.
Temporary change in the guarantee procedure
Even if it is stated in the form that you must receive a stamp from the police, you should not contact the police due to the corona situation. The applicant can use the guarantee form without a stamp from the police.
